David (09/05/1987) was raised in Chippenham, Wiltshire and competes for Bristol & West AC. With his parents being Scottish, David proudly represents Scotland.

As an age group athlete he won 4 national titles and converted this success to University competition, winning a British Universities title whilst attaining his bachelor’s degree in Sport and Exercise Science from Cardiff Met.

In 2008, on the back of his university success he was awarded a full scholarship to the University of New Mexico, in the States. There, he would go on to earn All-American status and lower all his pbs considerably. In 2011 he graduated with his Masters in Sport Administration and ran for Great Britain in the World University Games in Shenzhen, China. More success would follow as he won his first senior UK title in the indoor 3000m and represented Great Britain in the European Team Championships. In 2014 he competed for Scotland in the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.
