Jake was born in Bermuda and lived in Hong Kong before moving to the United Kingdom. He is in his final year of his degree at Cardiff Metropolitan University and plans to stay on to complete a masters.
He has run competitively since his teenage years and represented GB at European Mountain running championships before joining team Thie. Since then Jake has progressed excellently and in 2019 he had many great achievements including finishing 8th at the European under 23 10000m championships and he has 4 BUCS medals already to his name as well as 5th at BUCS cross country.

Jake is the U23 British record holder over the half marathon with 62:00 in the Big Half in 2019 placing him third in the race. He has just bought a house in Cardiff with Ciaran Lewis and are hoping to carry on their form for the future ahead.
