Tom (12/06/1989) was raised on a farm in Rhayader, Mid Wales, where the outdoors, and particularly sport played a pivotal role in his upbringing.
Tom attended Cardiff Metropolitan University in 2007, continuing his sporting lifestyle. He would win 2 medals at the British Championships, helping him on his way to earning a full athletics scholarship to the University of Tulsa, in Oklahoma. During his time there, he successfully earned a Master’s of Business Administration, and won 5 individual Championship medals, 3 of which were gold. Alongside this, Tom also gained numerous academic honours, helping him on his way to finding work upon his return to the UK.
Tom has roughly 50 Welsh International vests to boast, over Road, Cross Country, Track, and Mountain. With a number of domestic titles to him name, his aim is firmly set on not only representing his country, but winning with pride. He also finds huge enjoyment in pacemaking some of the fastest races in the world.
Now back in Cardiff, working as a Business Development Manager, Tom still proudly represents Cardiff AAC and Wales, whilst continuing to help run his family farm, where it all began.
